Answers about watching films and series online, using the MoviePaglu player, watching together with friends in a shared room, finding 4K, 1080p and dual-audio titles, and reporting a broken link or playback problem.
Questions, answered
How do I watch a film or series online on MoviePaglu?
Open the title and press Play if a player is attached. The Ready to play category lists every title that can stream in the browser; other titles show release details and download options only. Playback depends on the link supplied for that title, so a release can move in or out of the playable shelf.
Do I need an account to watch or download?
No. There is no sign-up wall: browse, search and play without an account. My List is stored in your browser, so it is personal to that device and survives a page reload without a login.
Is MoviePaglu free to use?
Yes. The catalogue, search, categories and player are free. MoviePaglu does not host video files; it indexes release details and the playback or download links available for each title.
Can I watch on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The catalogue and player use a responsive layout, and the player opens full screen on phones. Use the browser you normally use; autoplay and full-screen behaviour can differ slightly between mobile browsers.
What does “Ready to play” mean?
It means the title has a player link attached, so it can stream in the browser without a download. Filter the Ready to play shelf from Categories or open Play online to see the whole playable catalogue.
How does Watch together work without an account?
Open any title that is ready to play on a laptop or desktop and press Watch together. MoviePaglu creates an eight-character room code and an invite link. Friends open the link, type a display name and join the same room; there is no sign-up. Up to four people, each on their own desktop, can share a room, and the room stays open for 12 hours.
Why is Watch together desktop-only?
The shared player, the side-by-side face tiles and the room controls need the screen space and camera of a laptop or desktop. The room opens only at desktop width with a mouse or trackpad; on a phone or tablet the invite link explains that and points back to the title.
How do the host and guests stay in sync?
The host presses Start together. MoviePaglu shows a countdown, reloads every player at the same moment, then gives everyone the same short cue to press play. The embedded player is run by its own provider and does not accept remote play, pause or seek commands, so MoviePaglu cannot start it for you. The drift chip compares your position with the host's and shows the host's timecode; drag your player's timeline to match, or the host can press Resync all to reload everyone from the beginning.
Can the host give someone playback control, mute everyone or remove a guest?
Yes. The host can lend playback control to a guest for Start together, Resync all and episode switching, then take it back at any time. The host can also mute every microphone in the call, or remove a guest. A removed guest is disconnected, their face disappears from the room, and that browser tab cannot rejoin the same room.
Are the Watch together video calls recorded or stored?
No. The call is a direct browser-to-browser WebRTC connection; MoviePaglu only relays the connection details and never sees or stores the camera or microphone streams. Camera and microphone start only after you press Join video call, and you can leave the call without leaving the room.
Can we watch a series together and switch episodes?
Yes. Open a series, start a room, and the host, or a guest with granted control, can pick the season and episode from the room sidebar. Every player reloads for the new episode, so the room stays on the same episode.
How do I search by language, year and quality?
Use the search box in the header or the filters on Catalogue, Films and Series. You can combine a title or keyword with year, language, quality, edition and audio filters. The URL keeps the filters, so a result can be bookmarked or shared.
Where can I find 4K, 1080p and dual-audio films?
Categories has a By format group for 4K films, 4K series, 1080p films and dual-audio films. Each shelf opens a filtered catalogue page that can be refined further by language, year and edition.
How do I browse Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam or Kannada titles?
Open By language on the Categories page. Every language has a films shelf and, where the catalogue has them, a series shelf. Counts update as titles are imported, so the shelf always reflects the current catalogue.
How do I find a series with complete seasons and episodes?
Open Series or any language series shelf. Series with synced data show a season list on the title page; open a season to see episode names, air dates and any players that are available for that episode.
Can I see what is new or trending this week?
The home page shelves order titles by weekly trending rank, release date and catalogue additions. Collections also carries curated shelves such as new releases, 4K and titles from before 2010.
How do the download links work?
Each title page lists the qualities and hosts found for that release. A link opens the host's page in a new tab. MoviePaglu does not host or upload the files, so availability and download speed are controlled by the host.
What should I do if a download link is broken?
Send the title name, quality and host through Contact us and choose Broken download link. Links are re-checked during catalogue updates, and a report helps that title move to the front of the queue.
Why does a title have no download links?
Not every catalogue entry has a verified download source. A title can appear with release details and a player but no downloads, or with neither while a source is being checked. Missing links are added when a source is found.
What is the difference between 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K?
They are picture resolutions. 480p is the smallest, 720p and 1080p sit in between, and 4K is the largest. Larger prints need more bandwidth and storage, so the best choice depends on your screen and your connection.
Can I request a film or series that is missing?
Yes. Use Contact us, choose Title request, and include the name, year and language if you know them. Requests are checked against the sources used for catalogue updates and added when a release is available.
Does MoviePaglu host the films and series?
No. MoviePaglu is a catalogue: it records release details, posters, player links and download links supplied for each title. The files stay on the host that provides them, and playback or download depends on that host.
How do I report a playback problem?
Open Contact us, choose Playback issue, and include the title, your device and browser, and what happens when you press Play. A screenshot link helps if you have one.
How do I report a copyright issue?
Use Contact us and choose Copyright or takedown. Include the title URL and enough detail to identify the work. MoviePaglu does not host files, so a takedown request for a file should also go to the host serving it.
How do I save titles to My List?
Press the save control on a poster or title page. My List is stored in this browser, so it stays on the device you used and does not need an account.
